Custom theme

This is the base theme with colors, borders, margins and padding. Since I choose to build a site for an IT security company which is customer 1 in the task. I went for a clean and spartan design as I think that is a sign of "We can do it and we do it right without any nonsense" which I think is a message such a company would want to send. I can in this theme catch a glimpse of expensive suits, not like a banking company more like shirt is required at least.

The themes location is theme/modules/themes/default.less and it mostly applies colors and fits the content in the boxes defined by the base theme. This theme makes sure the content is not right at the edge of a box colliding with its border and colors text in different areas to make it readable. The custom theme also creates borders and removes other imperfections such as underlines on the headers.

I have used a color profile consisting of shades of the blue color that appear as background on the head and footer. The font is the same on headers as the text and it's chosen because it's "straight" and clean to fit the rest of the theme. The theme is simple and the main emphasis is on the text. These two things is something I personally think is important and therefore I have chosen the two as principles for the theme creation. I have achieved this by not having too much unnecessary boxes, lines and other things that can draw attention from what I want the user to see. Nor do I show much more than what the user clicked on.

Detta är grundtemat med färger, gränser, marginaler och vadderingar. Då jag valde att bygga en webbplats för ett IT-säkerhetsföretag som är kund 1 i uppgiften gick jag för en ren och spartansk design som jag tycker är ett tecken på "Vi kan göra det och vi gör det rätt utan trams" vilket jag tycker är ett budskap som ett sådant företag skulle vilja förmedla. Jag kan i detta tema få en glimt av dyra kostymer, inte som ett bankföretag utan mer som en skjorta krävs åtminstone.

Temat platsen är temat/moduler/teman/default.less och det sätter mestadels färger och passar innehållet i rutorna definierade av grundtemat. Det här temat ser till att innehållet är rätt vid kanten av en låda och inte kolliderar med sin desskant. Temat ser också till att texters färg blir rätt och att texten blir läsbar. Det anpassade temat skapar också gränser och tar bort andra brister som understreck på rubrikerna.

Jag har använt en färgprofil bestående av nyanser av den blå färg som syns som bakgrund på headern och footern. Det är samma typsnitt på headers som texten och det är valt de det är "rakt" och rent för att passa med resten av temat. Temat är enekelt och den största vikten ligger på texten. Just dessa två saker är något jag personligen tycker är viktigt och därför har jag valt de två som principer vid temaskapandet. Jag har uppnått detta genom att inte ha för mycket onödiga lådor, linjer och annat som kan dra uppmärksamheten från det jag vill att användaren ska se. Jag visar heller inte mycket mer än det som användren klickat på.
